Patrick Thornton Celebrates 20 Year Milestone @ NAI Hallmark Partners

It is with great pride that the entire team at NAI Hallmark Partners recognizes and congratulates J. Patrick Thornton on 20 years of outstanding service to the firm’s commercial real estate brokerage activities.

Few commercial real estate brokers in Jacksonville are as synonymous with their firm’s history of success as Patrick Thornton is with NAI Hallmark Partners. Patrick joined the Hallmark team on November 1, 1996 and quickly established himself as a critical contributor to the company’s success.

From Jeff Conn, NAI Hallmark Partners Co-Founder, “Patrick was the first person we brought on to supplement our leasing efforts. That decision was made easy by one of our major clients, EastGroup Properties.

We were at dinner one evening with one of their executives, Marshall Loeb, and left the restaurant at the same time as Patrick. We introduced him to Marshall and struck up a conversation. While standing outside the restaurant, we were interrupted with at least five different parties greeting Patrick as they left. As we got in our car, Marshall stated “You should hire that guy, he knows everybody”. Our decision was made easy that evening. Patrick joined our company shortly thereafter.”

Patrick’s ‘customer centric’ approach is marked by high integrity and client relationships that span twenty years and longer. The breadth and depth of Patrick’s experience negotiating hundreds of leases ranging from 1,000 to over 100,000 square feet gives him an ability to truly understand the distinct needs of each client no matter how large or small. Well known in the brokerage community as one of the best brokers in Northeast Florida, Patrick is universally respected by his peers.

“When I joined the NAI Hallmark Partners team in 2012, Patrick immediately took me under his wing.  He has been a great mentor, not only guiding me on the basics of commercial real estate brokerage, but more importantly on the significance of building long-term relationships and maintaining a high degree of integrity.”­­­, said NAI Hallmark Partners Daniel Burkhardt.

Patrick’s contribution to the fabric of the Jacksonville community transcends his involvement in the commercial real estate world. He is long known for the impact he has had in decades of involvement as a youth basketball coach and as a key figure in the Assumption Parish, where he most recently led the capital campaign and construction of the recently opened Early Childhood Learning Center.
